RELIANT as built by

Dear Gayle,

Please find enclosed picture pertaining to "Reliant" which we built and named the "Rose Evelyn", after my wife. We completed the "Rose" in early 91. She was appraised at that time for 1/2 million. We took a cruise from Mobile, Alabama to Key West, FL and on to Pensacola, FL. In June 1991, we departed for a cruise to the Pacific by way of Panama Canal, Galapagos, Easter Island, the Gambiers, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Rarotonga, Tonga, Fiji, arriving in Aukland, New Zealand July 1, 1992. We crossed the Pacific with no major incident. We shipped her back to Oakland, CA by container ship. She is now in the Cal State Marina at Monterey Bay, CA and is being used by the university in boating education programs.

Thanks for the inquiry.

Guss M. Marsh
