Matthew Lukaitis and I began work on Wild Thing in the Fall of 2004. Through the winter we cut out the parts from the plans, then began assembly in my garage this spring. The port and starboard voids were filled with foam. The boat was built using okoume plywood with white oak where hardwood was required. When this photo was taken, we were moving the boat from my garage to his house as he wants to have it completed soon as he has more time to work on it than me. The plans were very complete and this project has been a pleasure. This is Matthew's first boat and my second. My first being Sweet Caroline. I will send another picture when this boat is completed.
