Bo Jest is going well and the keel is forming up nicely it is constructed from Australian Flooded Gum (aka Eucalyptus grandis).
I have however ruined two sheets of 6mm achieving the bow ‘lower’ bend (photo of repaired split attached) The ply was soaked etc but it still did not want to form without cracking. In the end I simply repaired the crack by laminating ply to the inside of the split.
