Hi Gayle. The Fife is coming along, albeit slowly, until yesterday. I'm at the stage of assembling the keel and realized that the rear seat (already cemented in) had to be removed, cut out or something (haven't figured out what as yet) in order to secure the keel!
Dumb me. Suggest a warning should be posted under the rear seat instructions to assemble the keel BEFORE installing the seat top. 'course I suppose anyone with half a brain would know that. Ah me...the trials of a boat builder.
For what it's worth. After installing the keel (already cut out of Mahogany yet) then the odorous job of final sanding and painting...she's done. And I might add a beauty she is. Pretty and unusual lines eh? (Pix don't do justice but I ain't no photographer).
