The keel is cut out to fit over the daggerboard. The keel is bevelled as shown in the drawings to eliminate much of the fairing.


The various parts, including overlength battens, are ready for assembly. Note the butt blocking over the side planking junction, blocking for chainplates, and installed chine and sheers on the side planking sub-assembly.


The Glen-L 10 is built on two saw horses with top members shimed so that they are parallel to one another. Starting at the bow, the side planking is fastened and clamped to the bow piece and sprung around and glued and fastened progressively to each frame. A cord is being used near the transom to hold the planking members in position.


It is imperative that the boat be aligned by measuring diadonally between the frames from one side of the boat to the other. After being sure that both diagonal dimensions are the same, the hull should be diagonally braced to isure the hull remains true.
