First Homebuilt messabout in the Philippines

Glen-L was represented by Pawprint, my modified Zip, which was also the only other powerboat in the fleet of sailboats. Pawprint made a good job as the rescue boat for the sail boats many of which often stalled because of the very light and intermittent winds, as chase boat for the press photographers and as tour boat for the First Mates.

With this and other events like the Family Boatbuilding Weekend planned for mid-April, we hope to encourage more people to the take up the craft (art?) of home boatbuilding in the Philippines.

Best regards,
Rolando Perez
