4. Only when the frames are securly anchored are the longitudinals bent around and fitted. The keel has already fitted and installed. Here the builder is installing the second sheer layer.
5. After the sheers come the chines. Whenever anyone asks what tools he needs to buy to build a boat, my first answer is "more clamps".
6. At this point the sheers, keel, and chines have all been installed. The bottom battens will be next.
