Fig 14: The sheer clamp is sprung around the framework, glued and fastened to each of the frames.
Fig 15: Don is using a wood rasp along the chine, with the frame as a guide, to file a notch in the chine log to determine the amount of fairing required. This is done along the keel and sheer clamp as well.
Fig 16: The chine log is being planed to the level of the filed notches so that the lines of the boat are fair arcs.
