Hi Barry, Here are the remainder of my 8-Ball construction photos.

The keel and chine stringers have been installed.

The side panels have been installed and trimmed.

The bottom panels are installed but not yet trimmed.

The hull fiberglassed and painted. I used plain ol' polyester resin, 6oz fiberglass cloth, and Rustoleum exterior paint. All three have held up extremely well against the elements (including beaching on rocky shores).

the 8-Ball ready to sail. I used a white tarp for the sail, reinforced with thin pine battens. I spent approximately $300 building this little sailing pram, which was well below the anticipated budget. My intention was to build the cheapest boat possible without sacrificing safety. I've sailed this little 8-Ball in winds as high as 30mph with 35mph gusts which testifies to the sturdiness of the design, in my opinion.
