Tempest 27 ft inboard power boat

December 21, 2004

Barry, Well the Wild Thing has been completed and spent the past year playing at the Lake. We've had a lot of fun with it and now my efforts have been directed to the Tempest. The last email I indicated that I didn't have room in the tent for both the Wild Thing and the Tempest. Well even after we completed the Wild Thing we still didn't have room so we bought 1 1/2 acres in the California, Sierra Foothills (Grass Valley) in January 2004 and moved. Now I have plenty of room to build the boat but the tent was too small, so I built a fourteen foot temporary shelter as an extention to the tent. This will protect us and the boat from the winter elements. We finally started the assembly process in Mid October after an off again/on again break from the project having to get the property and new house and honey do's in order. We have assembled the frames and Keel and as the holiday season season is upon us again we will have to delay a few weeks until we can purchase the lumber for Frames Seven, Eight and the bottom and side battens. We will begin installing the battens after the Xmas and New Year break. I thought I would send a few more pictures to give you and update. Hope you enjoy them.

Happy Holidays,
Phil and Brett Harrison
