The first layer of the sheers have been installed. On this design the sheer is put on in two layer to facilitate bending. Note the towels wrapped around the sheers. To guard against breaking these pieces, they were bent close to their final position, tied in place, wrapped in towels, boiling water poured on towels, and allowed to sit overnight.
